Edinburgh in the spring

During a recent visit to Holyrood Park, home of Arthur's Seat. Everything is so green it is surreal. The blossoms are gone now but the lilacs are out, pushing little puffs of pungent sweetness into the air. The weather is getting warmer, creating a kind of heated glow in the atmosphere which, when combined with the green hills and blue sky, makes some of the views look like they have been pulled from fairy tales.
