In the mood for something pretty

This photo was taken near Rosslyn Chapel (obviously in the height of summer). So many times Scotland surprises me - this view made me think of France or Italy.

From whence we came or where we go
Are but the same - beyond our grasp.
For tis the present we can hold
And thus claim be at home at last.
Then what birds shall sing when all is done?
When all the doors unlocked be.
Does the rising of… or the setting sun
Casts the same rays upon you or me?

I loved the doors and shall read more. I am also partial to the spread of flowers regardless of the season. *S*

Rosslyn Chapel?
Damned Templars.
Be cautious. Beauty can be treacherous.

It reminds me of France, possibly because of the poppies and the battlefield connection. The sun is shining, are you sure you took this one in Scotland :-)
