I still love Barkerville

Just before the plague struck down the bulk of our holiday plans, we managed a very short trip to one of my favourite places, Barkerville.
It was so cold on the day we were there, right at the end of the season. There were few tourists wandering the streets, and most of the actors that help bring the place to life had also left, back to university or winter jobs.

The stagecoach rumbled up and down between the buildings and their raised walkways, and when I raised my camera to photograph it the little boy riding up front gave me such a look of distrust that I could only smile at him.

I was there when I was 12 (or there abouts). Still clear as mud in my memory. Judge Bean's courtroom and the variety show in the Thee-ay-ter figure prominently in my memory. I will take my boys there some day.

I am so glad you are back. Your writing is incredible and reaches down inside one's soul. Seriously. Missed you tons!

PS.......Harrington Manor's doors are now open for a enchanted, yet haunting evening...won't you and your guest drop by?....MUUUwahahahahaha!

Sorry you were sick, glad you're back!

The only thing that can accurately describe my sentiments on all this is my word verification:

DAGRASAL

It's a pill that reduces greasiness in people who misbehave regularly.
