Long night. View from my window

I don't know what the light is doing in the second photo. It looks to me like a lonely, transparent wing suspended next to the lamp. I think of the third photo as the David Lynch view.

The third one looks like a solstice painting. The light pillar from the lens is great. Beautiful photographs of winter.

Although snow makes for some beautiful photographs, I'm happy to leave it to you for now. So far (knock on wood) here in Toronto we have no snow.

Love these images! Hope you're managing to keep warm and dry. We are currently snowed in, which is a rare event for this part of Lancashire. Enjoy the festive magic! x

OH! I miss snow! I had it for exactly one year while living in a far off place and loved every moment! I was the crazy person walking the streets in a snow storm - that is until I realised just how disorientating snow could be and that icy rain freezes eye lashes into sharp needles.

Today we have a heat wave and I have put up snowflake decorations on the windows for the effect, how ever small, of a snowy Christmas.

I do ho[e yours will be a happy one!
