My life gets weirder

Gee, what did you do this weekend, Sophia?

Not much. Farmers' Market, bit of cooking. Oh, and I wandered around the city taking photos of a sock monkey.
And you? What did you get up to?

Brilliant!!!! Great way to spend the weekend in my opinion. Is it me or does that sock monkey look Canadian too? ;)

I spent this weekend watching Dougal the Highland pony fall in love with Robyn the Shetland pony. It was love at first sight.

That's fantastic! Great link too!

(although I'm a bit unnerved that I'm so jealous of a sock monkey!)

;-)

I saw this going around the blogosphere - great idea

I think he's expecting something with his arms cross like that...

This sounds like a fun idea and a way to see the world through different eyes - sort of. Just found your blogs via A Glower Ember, really enjoyed both. I like your writing style and viewpoint.

My wife and took a set of photos of a stuffed rabbit (family treasure) at various locations during a trip from California to Colorado. I'd have rather had a sock monkey.

great photo! and mr sock monkey looks sweet and spunky - strangely enough i have a monkey very similar to him, but sewn in fabric. his face and cap looks pretty much the same. a long lost brother perhaps? his name is bosse (swedish pet name for bo), does that name ring familiar to mr sock monkey?

Sounds like fun to me! I travelled over the weekend and took some night-time motion photos in a forest. Not so much weird but quite spooky under a full moon.

I just love the way SM is crossing his arms in this pic!

Greyfriars Bobby is the one thing I would love to take time out to visit again. I'm only around 27 miles away from Edinburgh but only seem to visit for gigs! I'm ashamed of myself! I've no excuse!

Sounds like a great weekend to me. Gestating ideas, maybe? A writer is never off duty...

It was fun but my time with Mr. Sole Monkey has come to an end. I'm looking forward to following his journey though. I've never been involved in this kind of project and it is so utterly odd.
