Today

Today it snowed. Driving, freezing sleet.

I am waiting for the world to change its perfume, waiting to feel the heat from the sun make an exchange with the soil, to walk through the haze of it, feel my body remember.

It's on its way. It's already here in Oregon: the sweetest Spring rain, almost warm, and the fruit trees in blossom all over the city. Hang on! Not long now.

Spring is coming, and the Northern Hemisphere will be a world of such flowers.

It has just snowed here too. No scent of spring.

But soon....

I followed the "Renee" link. That poor family. But I am confused as to who is who. The posts say "posted by Renee" but one post is signed "Angelique", and then I can't figure out who is the mom, the grandmother, etc... but they all seem to be having a bitch of a time due to cancer. Don't you just love to hate that word.
