The witch's tower

I saw this while I was out walking today and thought it would be the perfect Halloween treat. I especially love the dead vine afro and the cobwebbed keyhole.

For anyone embarking on the Novel Writing Month tomorrow, I wish you much inspiration.

Wonderful spot, I love the keyhole.

Thanks for the visit and encouragement. A novel is beyond me, but daily blogging should be doable!

Omigosh, that's wonderful...! Who else would live there but a witch!

How lovely and intriguing. Finding something like this must feel so fantastic.

I wonder what the story behind it is?

Too much light! (smile) I'd like to see it shot at dusk or dawn. Or better yet, in the dead of night, lit with a strobe or car headlights. That would be spooky.

Smart-assing aside, the cobwebs over the key hole is perfect.

THAT keyhole reminds me of grandma's vagina

Thankyou so much for your lovely comment about The Year of Yes. I'm afraid my Peter Peter the pumpkin eater post doesn't quite match up to the natural spookiness of your witchy lair - but how thrilling to have discovered it. Nothing so thrilling around these parts, not a single witch or cobweb for miles.
I'm moving to Scotland!!

Me, ME! I signed up for NaNoWriMo 'cause I thought it would force me to dive into the novel I shelved two years ago. Today, after three hours on the computer, I have a total of three lines written. Oh well.

Hello....I stumbled across your blog and see that you live in the UK. There is a London expat getting ready to throw a virtual English Christmas Tea Party. I'm most certain you would love it. You can visit here to read about it and sign up to attend:

Thanks for all your spooky comments!

Neil - this was in Dalkeith Forest park but I don't know exactly where because at that point I had gotten somewhat lost. But it's in there I promise!

Marcheline - I knew you were going to write that...

Michael - I know it would have been better at dusk, but I wasn't about to hang about all day for it. Maybe next time.

Moe -that's just gross and I love you.

BrightenedBoy - welcome! I was indeed elated to see this in the forest. I uttered the magical word: "coooool."

Shaista - if you move to scotland let me know. I know all the best cafes in Edinburgh.

Jyun - I am indeed lucky. I think this everyday.

Cheryl - keep writing!

Lizzie - thanks for visiting and thanks for the tip.

I didn't get everyone. I'm a bad comment-responder. But you know I love you. I do. Hi Marie! Hi Tammie Lee and Ellen! Hi KJ! Hi Lucy! Hi Sophia and Jo and Zhoen! Hi Renee!
